The Haryana police Tuesday registered a case for violation of code of conduct against Congress MP and millionaire industrialist Naveen Jindal in this Haryana town following orders of the Election Commission.
Jindal has been booked under Section 3 of the Haryana Defacement of Public Property Act. He has been accused of unauthorisedly putting up pole hoardings on the Shahbad-Pipli road in this district.

Jindal is the sitting Congress MP from the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency and is seeking re-election.
