Sitting Member of Parliament (MP) and Congress candidate from East Delhi, Sandeep Dikshit, may find himself in trouble with the Delhi Chief Electoral Office (CEO) accusing him of violating of model code of conduct in the run up to the Lok Sabha (Lower House of Parliament) polls.
The CEO has send a report in this regard to the Election Commission for further action in the matter.

The CEO had sought report against Dikshit following complaints from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that the sitting MP had organised a function without permission and also tried to influence the voters by distributing ice cream to them in Sunlight Colony in New Friends Colony.

"On enquiry against the allegations, we have found that Dikshit had not taken permission from us. There are photographs as a proof against him," a senior election official said.
